Bài 4: Quản lý Servers (Web server, Redis, PostgreSQL)

1. Vì sao DevOps cần quản lý Servers?

Web server (Nginx/Apache) → phục vụ website, API backend.
Redis → caching, message queue, tăng tốc độ truy vấn.
PostgreSQL → cơ sở dữ liệu quan hệ phổ biến, mạnh mẽ, nhiều doanh nghiệp lớn (telecom, banking) sử dụng.

👉 DevOps cần biết cài đặt, quản lý service, kiểm tra log, và test cơ bản.

2. Web Server – Nginx

Cài đặt Nginx


# Ubuntu/Debian
sudo apt update && sudo apt install -y nginx

# RHEL/CentOS/Fedora/Oracle Linux
sudo dnf install -y nginx

Khởi động Nginx


sudo systemctl enable --now nginx

Kiểm tra trạng thái


systemctl status nginx

👉 Kết quả mẫu:


Active: active (running) since Tue 2025-09-09 11:00:00 +07; 10s ago

Truy cập web server


curl http://localhost

👉 Kết quả mẫu:

3. Redis – In-memory Database

Cài đặt Redis


# Ubuntu/Debian
sudo apt install -y redis-server

# RHEL/CentOS/Fedora/Oracle Linux (cần EPEL repo trên CentOS/Oracle Linux)
sudo dnf install -y redis

Khởi động Redis


sudo systemctl enable --now redis

Kiểm tra kết nối Redis


redis-cli ping

👉 Kết quả:


PONG

Thử lưu và đọc dữ liệu


redis-cli set devops "hello world"
redis-cli get devops

👉 Kết quả:


OK
"hello world"

4. PostgreSQL – Relational Database

Cài đặt PostgreSQL


# Ubuntu/Debian
sudo apt install -y postgresql postgresql-contrib

# RHEL/CentOS/Fedora/Oracle Linux
sudo dnf install -y postgresql-server postgresql-contrib

# Khởi tạo DB (CentOS/RHEL/Fedora/Oracle Linux)
sudo postgresql-setup --initdb

Khởi động PostgreSQL


sudo systemctl enable --now postgresql

Kiểm tra trạng thái


systemctl status postgresql

👉 Kết quả mẫu:


Active: active (running) since Tue 2025-09-09 11:10:00 +07; 5s ago

Đăng nhập vào PostgreSQL


sudo -u postgres psql

👉 Kết quả:


psql (14.10)
Type "help" for help.

postgres=#

Tạo database và user


CREATE DATABASE devopsdb;
CREATE USER devops WITH ENCRYPTED PASSWORD 'devops123';
GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON DATABASE devopsdb TO devops;

5. Bài tập thực hành + Lời giải

🔹 Bài tập 1: Kiểm tra Nginx đang chạy

Yêu cầu: Cài Nginx, khởi động, sau đó truy cập trang web và hiển thị "Welcome to nginx!".

Lời giải:


sudo systemctl enable --now nginx
curl http://localhost

👉 Kết quả:


<h1>Welcome to nginx!</h1>

🔹 Bài tập 2: Lưu key-value trong Redis

Yêu cầu: Lưu key "project" có giá trị "DevOps" và đọc lại.

Lời giải:


redis-cli set project "DevOps"
redis-cli get project

👉 Kết quả:


OK
"DevOps"

🔹 Bài tập 3: Tạo user và DB trong PostgreSQL

Yêu cầu: Tạo user student với password 1234, tạo DB testdb, và cấp quyền.

Lời giải:


sudo -u postgres psql


CREATE DATABASE testdb;
CREATE USER student WITH ENCRYPTED PASSWORD '1234';
GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON DATABASE testdb TO student;

👉 Kết quả:


GRANT
